A Playa Named Gus is a Jellyfin client. It connects to servers you provide and does not collect analytics, tracking data, server URLs, media metadata, or credentials for the developer.

Gus stores the information needed to connect you to your own Jellyfin server:
Downloaded media is stored in the app container, scoped by server and user, and excluded from device backup. Apple TV does not support persistent local downloads in Gus.
Gus sends requests to the Jellyfin server you choose, including sign-in requests, library browse and search requests, stream requests, playback progress reports, and optional download requests. That server is controlled by you or by the server operator you choose. Gus does not operate the Jellyfin server.
The developer of Gus does not receive analytics, tracking identifiers, advertising identifiers, Jellyfin credentials, Jellyfin tokens, library metadata, playback history, downloaded media, or server URLs from the app.
Gus uses Apple-native diagnostics for app health, such as crash counts, hangs, launch time, memory, and energy use. App-created diagnostic summaries stay on your device and do not include personal information, media titles, or server addresses.
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in Apple device settings, Apple may make crash reports and aggregate metrics available through Apple's tools. That sharing is controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by Gus.
If you choose Find Local Servers, Gus uses the local network to discover Jellyfin servers. Manual server entry remains available.
